Dr. Sunil Kumar Jangala

DR. SUNIL KUMAR JANGALA (17-10-1977) is a famous and well Known Gastroenterologist from India. He is a specialist with expertise in the disorders and diseases that affect the digestive system. He is a master in GASTRO & LIVER problems. He is a expert in most advanced therapeutic procedures in Gastroenterology. He is the Founder and Chairman of Charity organisation – “JANGALA RAJESHWAR RAO SAVE YOUR LIVER FOUNDATION”.

He has done his schooling in Fathima High School, Mahabubabad. He has completed his MBBS from Osmania Medical College and MD & DM from Gandhi Medical College. He started his career as a Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology in Osmania General Hospital and Consultant Gastroenterologist in Corporate Hospitals like Kamineni & Sunshine Hospitals, then started own Hospital in Khammam. He is a specialist with expertise in Gastrointestinal Tract esophagus, Stomach, Small Intestine, Large Intestine, Rectum and Anus as well as the Pancreas, Liver, Bile Ducts and Gallbladder.

Social Activities

Dr.Sunil Kumar is a Founder and Chairman of Charity Organisation – “JANGALA RAJESHWAR RAO SAVE YOUR LIVER FOUNDATION”.

In this foundation they do free Hepatitis ‘B‘ & Hepatitis ‘C’ screening blood tests, Free hepatitis ‘B’ vaccination, Free Liver Fibroscan.

These activities are done on the first Sunday of every month in Sairam Gastro & Liver Hospital, Khammam.

Awards & Honors

Dr.Sunil Kumar has achieved a Gold Medal for paper presentation in AP IAP State Conference- The role of CRP & Buffy coat smear in early diagnosis of Neonatal sepsis.
He was a University Topper (NTRUHS) & Gold Medalist in DM Gastroenterology in 2010.
He is a IMA State Council Member from Khammam and was also past IMA Vice President, Khammam.
He was the First Doctor to start Argon Plasma Coagulation (APC) in Khammam 11 years back and also the First doctor to start Endoscopic ultrasound and double balloon Enteroscopy in Telangana Districts other than Hyderabad.
He has received the Best Doctor Award from Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh N.Chandrababu Naidu by SumanArts.

Extra-curricular Activities

Dr.Sunil Kumar is serving as President of Table Tennis Association in Khammam District. He had done a lot of service in encouraging Khammam Children to play table tennis and sent eight young players to National level.
